As the Process Manager for transport within Action you'll be responsible for the maintenance and execution of the SC business and change agenda. You will play a crucial role in developing the business to support the growth. On a daily basis you'll be working on improving the workability of systems and processes related to transport.
Your daily Actions
The combination work of process management, project management and analytics will optimize our way of working and ensure to become more efficient and effective in driving change. These will also secure our standard way-of-working, as well on process - as on our way of driving continuous improvement which we call Blue.
You'll be responsible for designing, controlling, improving and support of all processes and related systems within the Supply Chain. You report to the Manager Processes and Systems and you head up a team of Process Experts. Your team will consist of Process Owners who are focused on improving transport related systems and processes and are part of international, cross functional improvement project teams.
As a sparring partner for the business your responsibility is to maintain and improve processes and systems in order to increase availability to our customers in order to drive sales, and smoothly run a low cost Supply Chain. Next to a sparring partner you also need to ensure a sufficient level of standardization of the processes and control if the operational department follows these processes.
Together with your team you will be the point of contact for the processes for the definition, design , documentation and implementation of such processes. You will coordinate cross functional changes with other process owners / managers and provide process ownership through design, implementation and continuous improvement activities in the process life cycle. You will pro-actively identify opportunities for improvement within the Supply Chain and the company, and you will participate in projects within the department and business domain, facilitate and / or lead Change Control Boards on relevant systems.
Furthermore, you will work with all functions within the Supply Chain domain and where applicable cross-functional to ensure processes are executed as designed and measured accurately and completely. You will convert business needs into possible solutions, and present the solutions back to the stakeholders.
You will act as a change agent and communicate complex business process information in understandable fashion for optimum comprehension and acceptance.
Moreover, you will execute analyses to reduce risks and develop business cases to improve and avoid risks, and you will pro-actively monitor & analyze processes to be able to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.
Meet your team
The Processes & Systems department consists of 4 teams and a department Training. The departments main responsibility is to manage all process related topics ( i.e. process design, optimization, monitoring, support all processes ) within the E2E Supply Chain ensuring an optimal operation of our Supply Chain systems. Each team has their own area of expertise, which are Outbound, Inbound, Planning, and Transport. As Process Manager Transport your responsibility is to guide, motivate and support your team.

Furthermore you have:
- HBO level of education, for example HBO Supply Chain or Business Administration.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position or in the area of processes and improvements within retail or logistics.
- Knowledge of different Supply Chain systems like WMS and ERP, good general computer knowledge
- Excellent communication skills, ability to effectively convey ideas, tailor communication
