Laborant

Functieomschrijving

Als Laborant ben je verantwoordelijk voor het nemen en analyseren van stalen van alle in en uitgaande bulkgoederen met zowel de klassieke als innoverende analysetechnieken . Je beoordeelt en valideert deze monsters onder andere op kleur, samenstelling, densiteit, PH-waarde, refractie, kalibraties…..Je geeft de resultaten nauwgezet en correct in, in SAP. Ook werk je nauw samen met onze sales afdeling bij het ontwikkelen en samenstellen van nieuwe producten of blends . Je communiceert met verschillende interne en externe stakeholders zoals chauffeurs, leveranciers, klanten , Product Managers en het salesteam. Je maakt deel uit van ons kwaliteitsteam en rapporteert aan het Afdelingshoofd van het Labo.

  • Je beschikt minimaal over een A1, A2 of Bacheloropleiding in een wetenschappelijke richting, bij voorkeur op het gebied van chemie of microbiologie en hebt minimum 3 jaar relevante werkervaring opgedaan in een soortgelijke functie in de chemie, voeding en of agro industrie
  • Ervaring is mooi maar enthousiaste schoolverlaters met de juiste studieachtergrond en attitude kunnen ook in aanmerking komen.
Je hebt geen hoogtevrees want de meeste stalen dienen te worden genomen op vrachtwagens. Je bent accuraat en pietje precies , administratief sterk , klantgericht, nauwkeurig, communicatief, flexibel, innovatief en stressbestendig Je kunt zelfstandig en resultaatgericht werken en bent een entrepreneur met zin voor initiatief Naast een goede kennis van MS Office is kennis van SAP een pluspunt Je spreekt en schrijft vlot Nederlands en Frans , kennis van het Engels is een voordeel Je werkt in een 2 ploegensysteem (vroege/late-geen weekendwerk) en op fulltime basis Deze functie is in eerste instantie een tijdelijke vacature, maar bij gebleken geschiktheid kan dit optie vast worden op termijn

The job interview

When we see in your CV and motivation letter sufficient fit with our vacancy, we invite you for an interview in one of our locations. We will confirm our invitation by e-mail with the address of the location and name of the Brenntag contact person. If the first contact is positive, we will invite you for a second interview. You will always speak with your future manager. We are using the STAR method and can ask you to give some specific examples, so that we can find out how you will react in certain situations. You will always find the required competences in the vacancy text. Sometimes tests, an assessment or providing references can be part of our procedure.

When you are not eligible for the function, we will inform you as soon as possible.

Your first working day

The colleagues are already informed about your arrival through our WIKI (intranet) and are looking forward to meeting you in person. On your first day, you will be welcomed by your line-manager or by your buddy who will give you a short introduction to our company and who will introduce you to your new colleagues. You will get a personal introduction program with some on-the-job trainings and e-learning modules .
