Engineer (f/m/d) Maintenance Management



In this role you are responsible for ensuring that the facilities, layout and machinery run at their maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance and managing mechanical and electrical breakdowns. The role includes people management and budgetary/cost reporting and is reporting directly to the General Manager Operations.


  • Planning and carrying out repairs matching operational and financial company standards
  • Maintaining and improving function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by developing a preventative maintenance programme, operating and testing systems and equipment, restoring, repairing, rebuilding/replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts
  • Ensuring the implementation of modifications and maintenance projects in accordance with quality standards and in a timely and cost-efficient manner
  • Analysing problems and taking appropriate measures
  • Leading and motivating the team with a view to targets and results
  • Accomplishing maintenance and organisation mission by completing related results as needed


  • University degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or process engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable role, preferably in a company of the chemical industry/process industry
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and German
  • Solution-oriented working style, structured and analytical approach, high level of motivation
  • Proactive person (f/m/d), taking initiative and willing to take ownership and responsibility
  • Strong coordination and communication skills; open-minded team player (f/m/d)
  • Leadership skills, high level of interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Highest level of pragmatism, cost awareness and assertiveness
